Some of the most important aspects of a successful party are a good outfit, good company, and good drinks. What if I told you that one product could take care of two of those requirements for you?
We’d like to introduce you to our new Liquor Belt! It’s exactly what you think, a belt of liquor. Genius, right? Liquor Belts allow you to wear your liquor around your waist unless you prefer to walk around parties with a handle.
Are you intrigued yet? Keep reading to learn what exactly Liquor Belts are, how they came to be, and why you and all of your friends need them!
A Belt of Liquor … Literally
Looks like an ordinary belt, right? Well, not exactly. The inside of the Liquor Belt is equipped with tubing that allows you to hold about eight fluid ounces of liquor (or any other liquid you prefer), which comes to about seven standard shots.
Liquor Belts are made of soft-hard TPU rubber, a black material that reflects light and looks just like genuine leather! The Liquor Belt is lightweight and adjustable in size.
To fill it up, every Liquor Belt comes with a small funnel for easy access to the inner tubing. So, all that’s left for you to do is pick your poison, fill it up, and strap it on.
We love the Liquor Belt because of its practicality. You can wear it with any outfit for any situation. Just think of it as another black belt to add to your wardrobe. Don’t know what your plans are for the day? Fill up the belt just in case you get a little thirsty.
The Liquor Belt Biography
Once upon a time in 2019, Liquor Belt’s founder Todd Paton was up late at night getting some work done. If you’ve ever stayed up past 2 am, you have probably seen an infomercial after traditional television stops for the night.
On this particular night, Todd happened to see an infomercial for a product that discreetly holds the wine in a purse. Now Todd doesn’t carry purses, but he does like a strong drink, so the idea for Liquor Belts was born.
With his million-dollar idea in mind, Todd headed to a nearby home improvement store to gather materials for the Liquor Belt prototype. Newly equipped with plastic tubing and some nozzles, Todd was ready to get to work.
Todd integrated his new supplies onto an old belt of his and was ready to test out the original model with his favorite bottle of vodka. Since there is no better place to enjoy a strong drink than a ballgame, Todd headed to an MLB game to test the belt out.
Todd made it through security with ease and made it to his seat safely. Once he sat down with a cup of soda, it was time for the final test: making a drink. Lucky for Todd, the Liquor Belt passed its final test, and he rewarded himself with a strong drink.
So, while the Liquor Belt prototype did its job, Todd was not going to stop there and was eager to make improvements. The biggest challenge with the prototype was that the stream of liquor was not as strong as he wanted it to be. Todd is no physicist, but he knew that air had to be released to get a strong stream.
He considered installing a different type of valve but figured it would be more practical to install liquor pouches on the belt. Liquor pouches for the belt worked great, as the pouches themselves were equipped with a valve that allowed a steady stream.
Now, Todd had to redesign the belt itself to be able to fit the pouches. The new design was able to hold two liquor pouches on the inside of the belt. Unfortunately, Todd had to use a belt that was 3 inches wide to accommodate the pouches.
Typical pants are not equipped with belt loops big enough to fit 3 inches, so this model of the Liquor Belt had to be worn on top of pants. Todd was eager to show the world his new invention and hosted a giveaway that awarded 200 lucky winners with Liquor Belts of their own.
A year and a half later, Todd has perfected the Liquor Belt enough to create a final model. The final Liquor Belt model was inspired by the prototype and is equipped with tubing and a valve that provides a steady stream.
Todd and his team are hard at work manufacturing the final Liquor Belt model and are excited to finish production and get it on the market!
